Week 316 the whale jail and its ilk

Why, after decades of restorative effort, are we still wrestling with wild caught captive animals like Orcas, Belugas and whales in general. Perhaps sanctuaries are the solution to species recovery, rescue and scientific research. Either way learning to coexist with the natural world is a paramount cause in these times.
